Our Management Team:
MATT STEVENS is Capital Group's
Founder and Director of Operations. Matt began his business career with his company
Gold Seal Flight Instruction in San Diego as a Certified Flight Instructor by training
and organizing a group of highly effective flight instructors. His dedication to
excellence earned him the prestigious “Gold Seal” given to Flight Instructors with
above average performance. Matt later relocated to Boise, Idaho to take advantage
of the area's investment opportunities and lifestyle; transforming real estate
from a passive hobby, to his next professional venture. His understanding of the
need for above average results in the real estate industry has given Capital Group
a competitive edge in the Treasure Valley. Matt received a Bachelor of Science in
Economics from San Diego State University .
SAMANTHA STEVENS leads
Capital Group’s sales division as the Designated Broker with Stevens Real Estate at Capital Group. Samantha’s role is to assist Capital Group’s current
and future clients expand current portfolios, take advantage of current market opportunities
and formulate exit strategies. Samantha has held the Circle of Excellence Award
for over $3 million in sales year after year. She is also a Certified Short Sale
Specialist (CSSS™) and has successfully closed nearly 100% of her short sales. Some
of her favorite activities include traveling, backpacking in the Sawtooth Mountains
with her husband and dog (Chuck) and snowboarding. Samantha received a Bachelor
of Arts in Communication from San Diego State University .
MATT GOODMAN is a licensed General Contractor and owned a construction
and maintenance company for 10 years before joining Capital Group. He built residential
homes, remodeled existing homes, re-configured commercial spaces and performed a
wide variety of maintenance services for homeowners, property managers and corporations.
He provided maintenance services to companies like Simplot Agribusiness, CSHQA,
and Boise Chamber of Commerce. He has built homes with Westminster Homes, American
Building Corporation & Millwright Homes. His experience in residential and commercial
property maintenance is unparalleled and offers clients real solutions to their
property maintenance needs.
SHEILA WICKSTROM SCHULER began her career in Property Management
in 1998 while working as a Development Coordinator for one of the largest developer/home
builder teams in Treasure Valley . Her job description quickly included the role
of "property manager" after realizing the need for and opportunities presented
from managing Developer controlled HOA's. The ideas and processes she implemented
presented positive and profitable solutions for clients and the company. Her multi-faceted
knowledge of property management includes HOA's, commercial, multi-family and
tax credit properties. Sheila has worked as a marketer and escrow assistant within
the Title industry, adding to her ability to understand the ever changing real estate
market and enabling her to meet her client needs.
LAURA THOMPSON is excited to bring a unique level of real estate
expertise combined with an uncommon level of professionalism to Capital Group. She
has over 24 years of expertise in the property management field, and has participated
in a variety of real estate contract transactions. Specializing in marketing magic,
Laura has been recruited by national companies throughout the west coast to build
and maintain top leasing and resident retention programs for all forms and sizes
of properties. Throughout her career, she has been responsible for all aspects of
property management and financial reporting for large residential properties. Her
strong communication and people skills enable her to provide both Capital Group
and our clients with truly outstanding results. Trading the warm beaches of San
Diego, California, for the rugged beauty of Idaho, Laura enjoys the outdoors and
BSU Football with her husband, son, daughter and grandson. Go Broncos!
